SCHOLARSHIPS

The Nokomis Woodworkers Club will offer a scholarship each year to a Humboldt High School graduating senior or past Humboldt High School graduate who is advancing their education in a carpentry, construction, building trades, or woodworking-related profession. Interested applicants can pick up a scholarship application from the Humboldt High School counselor, contact the club directly for an application, or apply online here.
Applicants will provide a brief summary of their high school academic interests and classes and explain their career goals as related to construction, building trades, or the woodworking profession.
The criteria for consideration will be:
– The applicant shall be a Humboldt High School graduate who:
– Is a graduate during the current academic year,
– Or is currently enrolled in a program for a certficate, two-year degree or 4-year degree,
– Or is enrolled in Industrial Technology Education program (teaching program),
– Or is or will be enrolled in a vocational program, 1) Woodworking, 2) HVAC, Electrician, Plumbing, or Welding.
Applications should be submitted to the Nokomis Woodworkers Club by March 7 of the current year, although applications may be sent anytime during the year. Interested individuals may contact the club for additional information.
